Fun experience, food was great. A little pricey, but I think of it as buying dinner and a show. Will definitely be back.

Seriously the best service we've had in a long time. We were just passing through on our move to OK. Our waiter in the dining room was super attentive and made the experience fun by cracking jokes with us. Just overall great vibes in this place. The food had the best flavor I've ever tasted on a steak - the hibachi -simple but packs a punch!

Last visit was decent. Food was good. My previous had inhibited me frequenting this establishment for over two years

Underwhelming for a Japanese steak house; I expected more. My husband enjoyed his pork and chicken fried rice. I played it safe and ordered two beginner sushi rolls since it was our first time eating here. I ordered a Philadelphia roll and the California A roll. The California was edible, but the rice on both rolls wasn’t like rice on any other roll I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my share of sushi rolls over 10+ years. The Philadelphia roll was barely edible. I forced myself to eat it because I don’t like wasting food. But, the salmon had such an odd flavor. Typically fish doesn’t have a strong taste to me in general, but this particular salmon was especially potent. The flavor is difficult to explain, but it was the worst smoked taste. Luckily whatever the taste/flavor was, wasn’t foul because I didn’t get sick. I’ll stick to my regular Japanese sushi restaurant...

YUM! We were in town visiting friends and ate here for the first time. LOVED the experience. Entertaining, fun, and delicious! Some wanted meat, some wanted NO meat, some wanted Sushi. There was 9 of us and we all easily found something we wanted- and more! Would definitely try again. LOVED the noodles- and even had food to take home. Highly recommend!

I love Daimaru! Food is always fabulous most of the cooks we have had at the grill have been great! Mustard sauce is to die for! Service is sometimes so so but they get very busy there with so many people and you can see that they are trying!

This place was awesome the grill chief was a young guy and very funny. He was also a great cook the food was delicious and the service was awesome. You need to stop here and eat if you get the chance.

Had a family gathering today for 18 people. Chefs, servers and food was excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

The aesthetic and atmosphere they create is pleasing as it can be. It wasn't too terribly busy there but the food came out quick and the staff there was amazing. Love it and if ever I'm not feeling stingy with my money I will go there again and tear up more chicken fried rice!

Great sushi, and an amazing lunch special (2 rolls for $10, 3 for $14)... favorite go to spot for sit down lunch.

Great experience, We choose to sit in the dining area instead of at a grill table because of the wait. Food was same quality and came out quickly for a Saturday night during rush time.

We drive from Hays, KS just to eat here. The teppanyaki grill is always so good. They gave great portions of anything you order. The atmosphere is fun and prices are very reasonable. We almost always get the steak and chicken combo. You will not go wrong eating here!

I got the California Roll and the taste was amazing! There is a wide variety of Sushi to choose from, I had a hard time deciding. There are also a lot of alcoholic drink options, and just plain shrimp, chicken and other food items by themselves if you don't like Sushi. I will definitely go again because there is so much I need to try! :)

We usually have a pretty good meal here. The atmosphere and food are excellent most of the time. The only downside is it's on the pricy side, especially for Salina. This was made more clear tonight by the, I believe recent, switch to even cheaper chopsticks. They are as cheap as you can get. I've had to go order crappy chopsticks be better. These are dry and make you feel like any second you are going to get a splinter in your lip...Service is usually good, but has been lacking in the past. Tonight's service was adequate.All in all it's a pretty good place to eat and they have the best sushi in Salina. But for the love of the FSM, get some decent chopstick, what are they like $0.03 a set?

The sushi here was fantastic. We did not try a Hibachi Grill while there. We only had the sushi. But the wine selection and Sushi was top-notch.

Quality sushi on a consistent basis. Wish they had escolar. Service is hit and miss.

Very slow, but friendly service. Food is excellent but don't eat here unless you have at least 2 hours for dinner. Took over 30 minutes just to take our food order.

Went for lunch on business. Had the food cooked in front of us. Had about a 10 minute wait before they started to prepare because there was only 3 of us. Which gave us time to wash hands and talk about the work project. The cook was entertaining and prepared the food very well. Bathrooms were clean. Price was reasonable.

Have been here multiple times. The sushi is quite good. If you don't watch what you order your cost can add up. Most recently got Sushi to go will include picture. Will definitely be eating here again.

For the first time i was terribly dissapointed in there food! Ordered through eatstreet maybe thats wyhy. You guys honestly rate below dillions sushi for me..worst 37 dollars ive spent in awhile.

This was my first time to experience a dining thrill like this! Our chef had a great personality and put on quite the show! The food was excellent. I can't wait to go again! It was worth the hour drive to go!

Very quality food for a reasonable price. The service was good too with attention to detail. Our server, Mr. DuBois (no known relation) made our experience more than enjoyable.

We had a great time. Our chef was Andy. He was better than any chef we’ve had at this type of restaurant. As a former Disney cast member he could go to Epcot tomorrow and cook at the Japanese pavilion !!! He knew how to engage our group and didn’t do the same “tricks” that we’ve seen in other Japanese steak houses. Portions were good sized and delicious. Everything was fresh. Service was good, no waiting on drink refills. Clean bathrooms. On site parking. Next time we’re in Salina, we’ll be back.

We had to wait at the door for 5 mins while 3 staff members walked passed and looked at us . When somebody finally acknowledged us and sat us we sat for 10 mins before I had to go ask somebody to take our drink order. Hopefully it doesn't take forever to get our food . This place has definitely declined in customer service since last year .

This place has the most amazing sushi and hibachi! The chefs are true performance artists and when I lived in Salina, I could not go a week without getting some of their fried rice and ribeye. They also always have outstanding drink specials. Customer service is exceptional, especially the waiter named Michael. He deserves a raise! Come here for date night, birthdays, or any day you deserve a little food pampering!

Absolutely my favorite place to eat (once a year)!

We were there for a retirement party for my boss. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The waitress we had was great. The sushi was awesome. I had such a great time that I will be back.

Poor service. Ran out of ginger for sushi and no wait staff to get more. No refills on drinks. Small portion of Pad Thai with overcooked chicken, undercooked noodles and no sauce (dry, dry. dry), not enough garnish peanuts and a few measly bean sprouts. I liked the sushi but everything else about this meal was an epic fail. Save your money.

This hibachi restaurant offers you a tasty and fun experience and dining. They have a widely varied menu and there's something for everyone. The chefs are entertaining and cook your food to perfection. I can handle groups from two up to 18 or 20. A nice place to celebrate an occasion or just to go to a quiet dinner with friends or family.

Great food, atmosphere, and people!

My favorite place to eat in Salina. Plenty of sushi to try if that's your thing. Good and friendly service. The dressings for salad are great, I recommend both the house and ginger. Sitting at one of the grill tables is a great date idea if you're just getting to know each other.

Usually the food is great but the meal we ordered tonight was sub par at best. The fried rice was mushy and had little to no flavor, the fried noodles were dry and flavorless. The only thing that was hot was the soup. My wife, daughter, and I were extremely disappointed in the lack of care put into the meal that cost us as much as it did. Not gonna be ordering from there anymore.

Took forever to get service, waitress barely present, no offer to refill water or drinks, and the food was not good. Won't be going back!

My 2nd favorite sushi place in Kansas! They make a particularly good vegetable tempura and everything I have had so far has been delicious.

Loved the Jose roll. I would go back just for that. Ordered red snapper from the grill, but not so sure it was actually red snapper, but good still. Definitely skip the chicken soup.

This place is awesome! Great menu and helpful staff. Nice to have a non-chain, non-fastfood option for road weary interstate travelers. Table or hibachi grill seating options. My table service was great! Well fed for a good price — and I was out the door in 30minutes.

Okay if you want flavor it's right here! First time here and I could say it went well we had a nice size party and food was served right and it couldn't have been better. I'm amazed and the luch special is the best choice it was fulfilling. I'm really going to say this is a must visit place and if you have had any doubt about if it's a good place or not I'll say put it to the side. I'm not a big out to eat person but this was AWESOME!

Good place for a Birthday Eats. No special cake or drink though. Some grilled food had a burned taste.

Hibachi is always fun and this place is no exception. The food was good. I'll eat here again.
